Suddenly this...

Her heart pounded in a rhythm 

Her eyes were blinking like flashlights

Her mouth opened, steam coming out like a boiling pot

She could not believe what she had seen

Neither could she understand what had just happened

Her whole life, she had never felt anything like this

A rash of goosebumbs stroke her shoulders and stomach

She did not know if it was a good or bad feeling

This, she had not anticipated

This, had never crossed her mind

But, it had happened and reality had to be faced

It was her dream to get married by 24 and have children before 35

All hope was lost for a moment

How could this be happening

Why at such a time

He had proposed, but things got out of hand

Having run away like this how were they going to solve this?

She felt like she was in the middle of a huge spotlight

She stopped running and took small and slow steps

Her legs felt heavy

She looked for her phone then remembered that she forgot it at Tinashe's place
