Does it hurt?
To cover up?

Are clothes that fully cover up expensive?
Than revealing clothes?

Is your body cheap enough for you to expose it?
Is your body on a sale?

Do you hate your body?
Or you don't like clothes?

Don't you feel cheap wearing revealing clothes?
Will they respect you dressed like that?

Who are you trying to please?
Who do you want to attract?

Maybe I'm wayward, is it trendy?
Are you keeping up?

But then, don't you care about your image?
Are you not concerned about the brand in you?

The people that look up to you, don't you care how you influence them?
Yes you are a role model to someone, are you not?

If you were to bump into God, would you be proud of yourself?
Would you be confident to kneel down and pray  half dressed like that?

I long to see...

I long to see a place i have never been to
To see a people not afraid
To see a people free to speak and live
To see a people not crushed

I long to see a government i have never seen
A government not corrupt
A government not selfish
A government there to protect

I long to see a country i have never seen
See a country full of democracy
See a country with no trace of monopoly
See a country adversary to autocracy

Does such a place exist
Does such a people exist
Does such a government exist
Does such a country exist

Such a place is made, by the people who make the government
Such a government is made, by the people who fill up a country

Such a country is made by the people who not only dream, but make dreams come true
Such a country is made by the people who not only dream for themselves, but for the country
Such a country is made by the people who have strength in their voices

Who have a desire in their hearts
Who have a compassion in their thoughts
Who have a love in their words
Who have a reason in their decision

I long to see such a people.....!

I finally Belong

Finally i belong to someone who deserves my heart
I now belong to a man so strong he carried me through the storm
To a warrior who has fought named and unnamed battles on my behalf
So patient he had to wait all this time for me to belong

My heart lacks no love
My spirit lacks no peace
My soul lacks no mate
My body lacks no owner

In all my childish ways he has given me growth
Even when i bluntly detached my heart from his, he gently drew back to me
When i threw bitter love at him, he grabbed it with glee and nurtured it to give it back in flawless rose scented bulks
Who would have guessed I'm actually lovable
Well, he proved the world perfectly wrong

His love has given me freedom from loneliness
His love has set me free from the  bondage of singleness
His love has turned my dreams into realities
His love has turned my blackandwhite heart into rainbow

I am I am

You are not alone now
You might not see it but I'm here
You might doubt it but i have given you faith

In every situation communicate
In every storm celebrate
In every day meditate

One thing for certain, I have given you victory
Another thing to remember, I have won all your battles
Most important thing, i have made you more than a conqueror 

When you wonder if you are going to make it
Remember you have already made it
When you ask 'why me' know that you are the chosen one

If you are wondering who I am
Know that I am I am 
The God of gods who created you
The Lord of Lords who protects you
The Owner of all things below and above

Abide in me now
Trust in me forever
Its not for you to ask how
Call on me whenever

I Just Wish

I could be with her for now
I could be with her forever
I could be there to deliver
the comfort she needs
to wipe where she bleeds
and forgive her when she pleads

Only God is able for now
I just wish
pray for this not to perish
want to spoil her very lavish
want to clean her and remove rubbish
provide her with love and polish
away all the rust in her heart selfish
can be those around her i just wish

She's strong i can tell
Oh she's been through hell
and proved to be wise and never fell
the time will come i know
when the hurts shall blow
and it shall be smooth when it shall flow

I just wish for her to understand
that this is a phase and will end
for all her dreams then i will be glad
for her to be close and me around
and will be there even under the cloud
all her friends will be happy she is found
the life will be a dream everything sound
I just wish i could say this aloud

About a Guy

This poem is dated 07/09/10. Hahahahahaha i can't believe i wrote this

This thing is about a guy,
I truly adore absolutely
Who's all perfect totally

Attracted by his love for beauty,
That, to feel, to hurt or to love
It all falls under reality
He brought the sensation
Together with his magnificent smile
He brought the agitation
Rather than just a feel, its also a tale
Unbelievably, so real
Unavoidably, my 'Mr Right'

The reason he is living, it's me
The reason i am living, it's him
Together compatible till the end
Coz in this heart he's cherished
I thought, probably its a dream
When together, utterly undivided
Its all in the heart, so rigid

Not at all supposed to be a joke
Strictly about love in the house
Of course unshakeable as a rock
What i mean is virtuous
Not a thing, as a, heartbreak
Please, not in my world, ridiculous

Oh i surrender to the guy. the dude you might call him
But i prefer him as the Man
To me its not about glam, glamour
But, the heart, the feel, anticipation
It will appear differently like its favour 
Well its about a guy, remember!
I have to surrender!!

WITHIN ME

I wrote this poem in 2010. I was about 17 years, it still inspires me. Hope it inspires too...

The world within me, mighty and strong

The inside of me, lighty and very long

Never have i ever realised my hugeness

Its only nature that sees

Never have i ever recognised my greatness 

Its only God that heals

So, will i ever know the other me

That's so different from the little me

Blessed and adorned

Would like the outside to be like the inside

Would like them all to take me on their beautiful ride

That is after they know the me, that i hide

Not at all out of pride, it will be after i have cried

I had given my dreams away

To see them flee, tears dripping again

I shall never be weak again

Because the inside shall reign

Among the respected and adored

You shall find me there

Along the road of success

There you shall find me!

Mighty and strong 

With light and very long

The world within me

You against yourself

Hating when you should be loving,
Frowning when you should be smiling,
Crying when you should be laughing,
Doubting when you should be believing,
Sitting when you be rising,
Sleeping when you should be working,
Walking when you should be running,
Talking when you should be listening;

Clearly struggling and battling against yourself
seemingly the easiest thing to do but
truthfully, its you against yourself

You have one life, one spirit, one heart, one soul, one you
why not zealously grab every opportunity as it comes
try not to foolishly pretend like you have no clue
who made it easily and kept their gain easily, please?

Blame no one but yourself
 if all you do is sit and wait for the right time
truthfully, its you against yourself

Alive to live

I am alive in this day today

Not because I'm too clever 

but I am  here anyway

Even though i  shall not live forever

I am here for a purpose

I am here to showcase

My gifts, capabilities and bless

everyone i meet and not miss

any opportunity i see in any place

So now, lets live in this dream together

pray we won't die as failures

to lose or suffer or lack, never! 

 each other, we shall praise

No need to crush or bruise others

No need to lie or hide from others

Just release love in tones

Just redeem the lost ones

And the world shall be livable

And the life shall be worthwhile  

 Not forgetting that we all need each other now and tomorrow

No-one has ever made it on their own

In one way or the other someone came to you to sow

A seed which has since blossomed and now you own

Say thank you today and the rest shall follow
